Thumbs down Second Wind Usage

In my opinion, the absolute worst Elementalist Elite has got to be Second Wind.

If you've forgotten, Second Wind gives you 1 energy for each point of energy lost becuase of Exhaustion. And it causes Exhaustion when you use it.

If anyone has ever used a decent build with SW in it, please by all means correct me when i say it is completely useless.

If you agree with me, i can only beg that Anet gets its functionality changed.

That would be a good start in seeing people's views.

Hmmm i see your point, but in either case, it is still a crap skill that no one uses or wants to use. After reading your forum link, i agree that it is not completely useless as it does have potential but it still needs to be reworked quite a bit in my opinion.

I agree with some others that wanted to change it to: remove xx points of exhaustion...etc etc but that would have to be carefully balanced to avoid shock/gale spam. It still has to remain an unlinked elite though, so idk how that would be reworked.

I guess not, for some reason i was under the impression that every profession had to have 2-3 unlinked elites, but thats not the case with Necro's for example. disregard that last statement.

ty Del.

i still feel it needs to be reworked though...

well I guess it has some pontential, but its too complicated and I've never ever in my 3 years of playing Guild Wars noticed anyone at all using this .. so I agree with you, it should be changed somehow.

Actually, seems to me like it was won with Meteor Shower.

One could say that the battle was won DESPITE second wind ...

But since SW has proven kind of useful long time ago (2006 I didn't know that GW existed...) lets bash Stone Steath again

I agree that amity is worse, as are withdraw hexes and shatterstorm. However, Second Wind is pretty low as well. The problem is that there are so many energy management elites. I think it should be tied to air magic and given an air magicy effect.

If you have a huge energy pool and can time it right it gives something equivalent to 4-5 extra pips of regen, that's not useless but you just have to be on top of things to manage it.
